Holy Crap!

On Wednesday morning at 11:00am, we had a very rude wake up call. Someone knocked on our door, and I made Michael go and see whom it was, he looked through the peephole and did not know whom it was, so he came back to bed. The a few minutes later, there was another knock on the door, again we just ignored it. About 30 seconds later, I thought I saw someone walk by our bedroom window, and pause. (Not too unusual to see someone out the window, for lawn care) Anyways, whoever knocked on the door to begin with started pounding on the door and banging the knocker. We both sat up in bed, then they tried to kick in the door. We jump out of bed, Michael got his sword,(our shotgun was still packed away) and he runs to the front door, and I am looking for the phone. By the time Michael gets the locks undone and opens the door, the person is gone. We called to police, and we made a report.
